Best combination for two F papers (F5-F8)

Dear everybody,

I just gave in september 2017 the F9 exam and think I did well in the exam. Now I will sit in december 2017 but this time I want to give two exams in one season? Can you help me which is the best combination of Papers? I want to give F6 and F7 since I have been told that F8 and F5 are more difficult(these two exams occur to have the lowest ACCA pass rates exams).

I plan to give one month study time for each of the exam with an additional 5 days times for revision and past papers.

I would be grateful if you could hepl me with you advice!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Gerti,

Combining F7 and F8 would be ideal since in F8 you would be using a lot of knowledge from F7.
F8 deals with the audit of IASs learned in F7.
The major setback is that both subjects are heavy in volume so time should be used efficiently.

F6 depends on the local tax variant, so i cannot assess the difficulty but for sure it does not have to do with any other syllabus. F5 is an advance on F2 it is not that hard if you like management accounts and understand the theory behind the working. So combining these two together should be easier than the others.

Good luck.

Hi Joseph,

since I'm in a full time job I believe that will have difficulties of learning well enough both of them. After F6 I will give F7 and then immediately in the next season F8, saving F5 for the last.

Thank you so much for your advice!
