PM F5 September 2020 exam

Hi all
It’s almost two weeks away the exam and feeling very worried!
I am doing revision past papers, and sometimes I’ll pass over 50s and 60s and all of sudden I obtained 39!
I cannot understand where I stand and feels like my motivation is going down
This is my second attempt in doing this exam, has anyone went through this ?
I have been preparing months for this subject and sometimes I see comments from other students who obtained this exam only in just a month ! How could they do that ? need some feed back please

Not much feedback, just to reassure you you are not alone. I am the same with this subject. I failed it in the March sitting and resitting in 2 weeks. I am just trying not to get myself too worked up about it. I find if I'm too tired I make a complete mess of it and get very frustrated so I'm going to try to sleep well over the next couple of weeks. We've put the hours in, so hopefully it'll pay off!

I'm preparing AA which is a paper without calculations. A lot of words to recite, a lot of key points to memorise. I think my situation is not better than you.

Remember, you are not alone. This issue is common. It is best to stay calm and treat the exam like a game :)

I passed without problems on my first time about a year ago. The key is understanding what the numbers mean and why do we use them. Don't learn anything by heart. Is there any particular area you are struggling with?

Hi. I guess my advice would be to just relax and maybe not try to look at how faster other people achieved their results because i'm sure you will agree with me that people are different, you just need to find a way to be comfortable with your study plan and try to actually be okay with failing because even if its not ACCA exams, at some point, you'll fail and get disappointed but its actually the lessons you learn from it that makes it worthwhile.
