Has Anyone used Windows 7 for the remote CBE?
Hi,

I have been preparing for an on-demand CBE via remote examination. I read on the ACCA systems requirements PDF that Windows 7 can be used. I am presently using a Mac for all my normal work, so I purchased a Windows 7 computer because I have previously had experience with that software. However, when I  completed the systems check with ProctorU, it said that Windows 7 is not compatible with their system. This is after purchasing the computer.

Has anyone else used Windows 7 for their exam?

Thanks

Hi,

The link that you gave is for the *session* CBEs not the *on-demand* CBEs. The two have different system requirements.

The system requirements PDF that I was referring to can be found here: https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/ACCA_Global/Students/Remote-exams/Student%20Guidance%20-%20Minimum%20Spec%20v2.0%202%20June.pdf

Apologies for the confusion!

Let me check about the On-demand exams and I'll get back to you.

Has a conclusion been made as to how/why we can/can't use
Windows 7 for the on-demand exams? Thank you
