Do I need to get a new text/revision bk as there are some changes/updates this year?

I am resitting my exam in Jun, does anyone know if I need to get a new text/revision bk as there are some changes/updates this year or can I use the old one?

I will recommend you to buy new study material if the tax year has changed in between your previous and the coming exam or if there have been changes to the syllabus. Look out for the dates on the publications which usually tells you up to what sitting they are suitable to be used. If there are minor syllabus changes like a single area being added and everything else is same then you can totally stick to your old material.

Good Luck.

I'll advice you use the most recent textbook for this paper and read also the examinable documents as well ,as the legislations are constantly changing for this paper.

Most textbooks like BPP tells you when the publication can be used up to, i.e for exams upto June 2015 is written on mine here. This gives me peace of mind and avoid any nasty surprise in the exam.

It rather depends on which paper your are studying. If you are studying tax papers than it will be difficult for you studying from old books.
