It doesn't exactly need "full" mind concentration. We are only human and we do get distracted sometimes lol. :)
But only you can know your abilities and what your work load is like as well as your free time. But to get an idea, I strongly suggest you follow ACCA student blog, you will find useful articles of how students manage work and studies among other things.
I also work full time and self-study. I find it helps to set aside specific times to have as your studying periods. I try for a Sunday morning/part way through the afternoon and for at least one evening in the week. I tell my husband so that he knows that is my study time and will try not to disturb.
I also only take one paper at a time to make sure I can fully concentrate on it. It may take a little longer to become a member this way but I haven't failed yet as I am only trying to absorb one type of subject matter at a time! Make sure that you complete many, many practice questions before you sit each exam.
