How do I get a mentor?

I work in accounting and finance and I have been doing this since 2006. I am the only person who does accounts in the company and none of my colleagues really know about accounts/finance. I often help them with their project budgets. Can I get a mentor from ACCA? Thanks

Presume you are referring to a Mentor interims of the PER requirements and wish to highlight that there have been some changes introduced in Feb 2016, which you may find the details at the following link:

http://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/practical-experience/practical-experience-changes-per-in-2016/per-policy-changes-2016-per-decision-tree.html

The best way to approach is Mentor / Workplace Mentor / Practical Experience Supervisor is to approach your local ACCA office / drop an email to ACCA global office and they would be able to match a Mentor from the global database.

For your reference I do act as a workplace Mentor for PER and a Mentor for the OBU Degree Program as well and you could get in touch with me at bsbalan12@yahoo.com.sg should you wish to have more detail on this.
