I live in the UK and am currently studying F4 and am feeling a bit concerned that I have chosen the wrong route to what I would like to eventually become. I am really interested in management accounting and business strategy and performance. Financial accounting is ok but I prefer the more analytical side of forecasting, budgeting etc.
Will the ACCA qualification enable me to be a good management accountant? or would I be better off doing CIMA?
Your thoughts would be really appreciated!
There was various Management Accountants who are ACCA and excellently doing the job and in professional opional papers you have an option of P5 Advance Performance Managenent which would enhance your potential as a Management Accountant, however, I could suggest you to take a more mature advise from a tutor who is teaching both ACCA and CIMA.
