Looking for a study buddy for F3 paper. I am based in South West London

Hi there,

I have been away from my ACCA studies for the last 3 years, but now I am back to London and picking up on my studies from where I left.

I am currently half way through my BPP F3 book and expect to sit my CBE exam by June.

I am not enrolled in any course at the moment, as I prefer to study at home and make my own time.

I will be happy to help anybody in questions and answers whenever I can and know. :-)

If anybody is interested, please, let me know.

Best of luck for you all on the F3 paper.

I am also doing F3. We can also keep in contact.

Basically, what is the difference between Payable and Accrual?

Just give me some easy way to understand. I've completed F2 & if you need any help I'll do my best to help you.

Hi Kershana,
Thanks for your message and best of luck with your studies.
I would consider payables to be  all expenses arising from credit purchases of merchandise or services from vendors or suppliers (ongoing expenses of your company,)

I would conside accrued expenses to be accrual type adjusting entries made at the end of the accounting period for items such as office rent, interest, wages, and so on. In other words is expense incurred, but not yet paid.
Hope this helps.
have a great week.
