I have attended the ACCA conference last Friday and it was very interesting and resourceful. The lectures explained the various changes that will occur from December onwards. ACCA are planning to introduce more CBE for more papers at the skills module in the upcoming years, more flexibility so that students can be able to rewrite failed papers either in march or in September instead of waiting for 6 long months to rewrite a failed paper, this flexibility is a request from ACCA employers and that is why the ACCA team plan to introduce it soon. However, the only paper at the skills level that is also available on  CBE so far is f4. As for f6 the changes will start from next year because of the tax year. I think that the new structure will enable us to pass quickly.

A friend of mine that has sat these type of papers before has informed me that ACCA deducts points for wrong answers, is this correct?

Hi Anna Clements I never heard that ACCA deduct anything if you got wrong and besides this structure is to start next month on 19. How could your friend sit the new structure if it didn't start yet? I don't get it.
