Is choosing one over the other going to impact me in any way to get the acca qualifications later? I'm currently in the uk and would prefer to take the English version but would like to move abroad in a years time mid way through study for ACCA. Is taking uk version now disrupt finishing the qualification abroad?
Not at all, either the English or global is not going to impact on your way to your qualification. I am going to take f4 global on CBE by the end of January.
I also wanted to add something else, usually those who choose the English variant may want to work in the UK. Given that I'd like to work worldwide I choose the international/global variant where applicable to the ACCA papers.
if you will finish your studies abroad then global will do. I'm also taking global and will be writing CBE end of March.
