As Olatunde says - practice, practice, practice. I have both Kaplan and BPP revision text and sit every MCQ in them. Then make a note of all those I fail and sit them in week leading up to exam. If you can get 14/15 out of 20 in this area and know groups and prep' of financial statements and cash flows I think you're well on the way to passing with time to spare.

Do the ones without calculations first before moving to the ones with calculation, on the average you are expected to spent 3.6 minutes per question, the idea behind this is that there will be enough time to do the calculations within 72 minutes for mcq. also practice! practice! practice!  MCQs question, also don't leave any mcqs unattempt at lease you can guess you will not be penalized

Know the content first and understand the principle behind each concept. You will find they put DISTRACTORS in the choices,ie, wrong answers that you get when you do a wrong calculation. Master the concept/principle first.
Then go on to practice a lot of questions, i mean a lot.
