How should I reference my work. Harvard referencing info pack is not of that much help .It is quite confusing on referencing the data which is taken from company website. Can please someone help me ?
http://www.harvardgenerator.com (just to have an idea, but you need to refine the outcome)
It depends on the ratios you are calculating. Especially if you are calculating the operating profit margin.
There are certain exceptional items. If the amount of such exceptional items is know than you can calculate restated figures.
But I would suggest to take all figures individually for each year to avoid complications.
Hope this would help you.
same problem with me. But after much of a research I have found out that If you want to share a piece of information is your research report, you must give a reference of book/ journal/ newspaper or any other source where you acquired that information from. In this way you will be able to avoid plagiarism, which is usually referred to as presenting some one else's work as yours. that is why referencing is important. Harvard referencing system is just a standard of how you should present the references as per each source of information. It does look complicated but in fact its not. Hope this was helpful.
