Research is NOT up to the mark- what does it imply?

In the RR of RAP, the marker said the research done is not enough to secure a PASS mark. How can a student his research?

If the maker comment is your research work is not enough to earn you a pass mark, it mean your work could not earn you a pass mark and you have to redo the research report. That is to said you have to resubmit your Research Report but remember that it is no only the RR that will earn you a pass mark you have also have to pass SLS. And if the markers comment on your SLS is the same with that of the RR than you have to redo the entire RAP. But remember that if you are successful in the resubmission the highest grade you can achieve will be C even if your work suppose to achieve higher grade you will only be give the C. For you to actually do a good research you must read the Current OBU BSc Applied Accounting Information Pack and you must work with the mentor to give you the needed guidance. I came to understand that many students do approach the RAP without a mentor which contribute greatly towards their failure. I hope that is not what you did? I tend to believe that, that is what you did because no mentor will allow you to submit RR that is not up to standard. So take every good step that will ensure your success as OBU BSc Applied Accounting is indeed a prestigious and highly recognized certificate.

Select your Mentor very wisely.

All other sections of the RAP are marked as PASS except the RR. Should I update the SLS accordingly in the submission? Or would be acceptable not to edit other elements except RR?

If your SLS is equally marked as pass then the only resubmission will be the RR. However, check out this with your Project Mentor or you can contact ACCA office in OBU on acca@brookes.co.uk. They will clarify issues for you. Thanks and best regards.
