Hi, I'm about to start professional level and I'm not sure on which should be done first, SBL or SBR? I'm leaning towards SBL but I'm not sure.

I am in exactly the same position as you, and I have decided to do my options first. That way, I can wait to see how the learning providers change their tact towards these two new papers, and it gives the exams time to “bed in”, for the examiner to make changes if it proves too difficult!
Hi,first of all im not studying or planning to give exams of either of SBL or SBR but in my Personal Opinion i think one of things you should consider when selecting that should be which papers you are going to choose on your optional exams.As Advanced Audit and Assurance (old P7) require alot of knowledge from SBR if you are planning to choose that ,you should take SBR with AAA or maybe SBR just before the session you are planning to give AAA as this will help you revise qualitatively and in quick time the knowledge of SBR when giving AAA.i hope this can help you a bit. I am in the same situation as you, most likely to start with SBR which is the same as P2, means there is enough background to build on toward the next SBR exam session. Unlike SBL which is still fresh.

SBR and SBL are mutually exclusive. You can start with whatever you feel like but I recommend if you intent to do P7 then you need to do SBR and P7 almost at the same time as they are linked. SBL is linked to P5. You would rather link the essential modules with options.
Has anyone completed the Professional Ethics Module before taking the strategic papers?
