Hello, you need to get 3 years time signed off by anyone who works as your manager or personnel staff, or any senior director. They will need to register with the ACCA.

You also need to complete the work experience, 5 fundamentals (essentials) and 4 technicals. The tecnicals are 4 out of 9 choices. These will need to be signed off by an IFAC qualified accountant. If you work for a gold employer you only need the 5 essentials.

The best thing to do is get your time signed off when you complete 3 years or when you change jobs. Also to get your technicals signed off when you think you have covered enough of the subject to write a meaningful account.

The worst thing to do is leave it until you have passed all the exams and then start to look at it. People move on and the job you did 6 years ago, when you go calling for signatures no one will remember you.

The ACCA will not help you either if you are stuck, they seem to like to ignore the problem of people who can't get their PER signed off.

Please assist with a step by step guidance for completing PER. I've been ignoring this area for a while.
