I find the timings of the exams extremely difficult especially as working in finance and the month end reporting has started the same week as the exams. I struggle to get the time off work and commit to last minute studying due to being so busy at work. Would it not make sense to push the exams back to later in the month.
I completely agree. The exams also clash with our company's quarter ends!!!
Why can't they be in the middle of the month!!
You'd think being an accounting qualification, they'd be more sensitive to it.
We have 3 people in our department studying including myself and all of us are off almost always at the same time. On top of the exam day, it makes sense to take a day or 2 before the exam day for last minute revision which usually cripples our department.

Yes I also agree - can ACCA please move exams to last week in November and last week in May? It clashes with financial month ends at companies.

I support moving the exams to 2nd week of the month or last week.
Completely agree...i am also working in finance department and its extremely difficult o attempt exams during the first week of month due to month end closing... I would really appreciate if exam dates can be moved to atleast 2nd week of the month.
Definitely, the exams being in the 2nd week seems reasonable. The 1st week gets a bit hectic especially for those working.
