Does anyone have any experience of appealing? did it lead to anything more favourable? It's just hugely frustrating being one mark away from passing the exam.
Hello, I understand how you feel, it’s a quite a sad experience, I also got 49% in my F7 when I wrote it 3 years ago. However, I knew I hadn’t done enough work. I prepared harder for the resit and got 74%, so I would just encourage you to practice a lot of questions which is what I did and you can ace the resit. By appealing the mark, you get your hopes high and in the event that the mark isn’t changed, you don’t get a refund for the £52 administrative fee paid. Kindly find below a link to the administrative review process on the ACCA Website.

Same here, Was considering a review, but have decided to just buy another revision kit and prepare for a resit.
Don't appeal - They do not look over your answer but instead just makes sure that they have "added up" the correct answers correctly. They will not review your paper and so is a waste of time!
They never change marks and they won't show you your work marked. They just check if they put marks correctly, which is most likely the case. Don't waste your time, money and temper.
