I am recently returning to studying after having a break for a few years. I am hoping to sit an exam in June however, I do not know whether to study SBL or SBR first? Could anyone advise on which one would be best to start off with?

SBR will give you the required foundation for SBL. My thoughts though
I passed SBL in last Dec exam and am currently studying SBR for June exam. I think SBL requires common sense of business world while SBR requires technical knowledge. If you are familiar with the standards of financial reporting, it would be easy for you to take SBR. You should take a look at the syllabi, they may help you to decide.
