Hi,
I am attempting to write my first PER and am really struggling. Whatever I write, sounds somehow fake and pretentious, despite of me trying to incorporate examples and describing my own work and real situations.
Please, would you let me know if there are more specific advise available or even good samples of PER.

Why shouldn't you **** your own trumpet! As long as you are stating what you have you carried out and how it meets the objective, go for it :)
Just mention what skills you learned and experience you gained in a natural way Or secondly find someone who recently submitted his/her PER.
