INTRODUCTION Hello, my name is Ian Daniel Ong’amo, an aspiring ACCA member & founder of the program in subject. I have recently sat and passed my ACCA part 3 exams and have over 3 years finance experience in the corporate sector (Oil & gas industry). Not to throw modesty out of the window but I should also state that I have never sat any specific ACCA exam more than once. Too, I never attended an actual class for any of my part 3 units and have always employed the same approach for all these papers. It is this approach that I would wish to share with all aspiring accountants, with the purpose of attaining collective success.
SCOPE The “Let’s All Pass ACCA” initiative focuses on 3 units (for now), with plans to diverge into more units in the near future. The current available units for tutoring include: 1. Strategic Business Reporting – International (SBR-INT) 2. Advanced Taxation – United Kingdom (ATX-UK) 3. Advanced Audit & Assurance – International (AAA-INT)
COURSE DURATION & CHARGES Each of the above units constitutes an aggregated 40-hour course split into 2-hour sessions with up to 3 sessions a week. To allow inclusivity, the initiative offers relatively cheaper rates as follows: • For 1 unit – $0.25/hr (Total – $100) • For 2 units – $2/hr (Total – $160) • For 3 units – $1.70/hr (Total – $204)
**Classes are set to begin on Monday, 4th May 2020.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION The class will be virtual for all 3 units, taught by myself (Ian) via the Zoom platform. All a student will need to access the material is a laptop (or mobile phone) and stable internet connection as the classes will be live. Specifics on how to install and run the Zoom platform will be communicated to the students who register prior to their first class.
