Hi there,

Tethering to a mobile hotspot is not allowed. For optimal performance, a reliable and stable connection speed of 3 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up is required.

Where possible, we recommend a wired network as opposed to a wireless network.

Dongles can be used to boost the connection, but should not have a user interface.

For more info, check out the remote exams FAQs page here.

Hello,
I used a Airtel hotspot during my september remote exams. But in between the proctor couldn't see my video so they terminated my exam. Not only me, most students faced this issue because they used Wifi or Dongle. Though they offer speed, there is no stability. Hence, I had to go to my friend's house who had ethernet connection to give my exam. So, I advise you to either get a wired connection or like me you could find someone who has a wired connection to give your exam.
