Hi Guys I'm new and I don't know nobody that took acca before me. I was wondering: how many exams you would advice to take per session? Considering for a working person (as I think most os acca students are). Thanks

Hi there, I think it all depends on the work load you have and your time management. September was my first ACCA sitting and I did two exams. I was so worn out and barely had time to myself and family. Everyone's circumstance is different. But of you're working full time,I'd advise sitting one exam per session.

Hi there. Congrats on starting your journey to ACCA qualification!

The number of exams that you decide to sit per session will be dependent on your personal circumstances, and how much time you have to dedicate to study. I'd really recommend reading through the 'Preparing for exams' hub on the ACCA website. It includes some useful videos and planning tools that will help you prepare an exam strategy.

Best of luck! Isobel, ACCA Community Manager

Hi Elena,

It honestly depends on your prior experience and how much time you're willing to spend on studying. If you push yourself - I think 2 papers is very doable - I recently did the FM and FR in one sitting and scored 83 and 79 on them. So it's certainly possible - but it also meant a lot of time for exam prep.

I'm happy to help you understand the exams in more detail since this is your first exam.
