Hello, sat my FFA FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING yesterday, Had unsuccessful attempt by 48%, is there any chance of passing next attempt on friday?

Sorry to hear you were unsuccessful in your attempt. You were very close to a passing mark which should hopefully give you comfort that a pass is in reach.

It's advisable that if you are retaking an OD CBE, to not leave too long a gap before booking a resit. However, the decision of when to book the next attempt should be based on how confident you feel in the technical knowledge.

Have you explored the resources on the ACCA website for Financial Accounting? This includes access to a specimen which we'd encourage you to work through to gauge your exam readiness.

You may find that with a bit more question practice, focus on exam technique and practicing questions to time, you'll be prepared to pass.

Hi wapula, I am not sure about FFA, but I passed FA with a good mark last month so i can help you out. But without knowing more about how much knowledge you currently have or where you are lacking it is difficult to assess if you could pass giving the exam so soon. I would suggest giving it more time because the knowledge gained here is going to be crucial for further exams. Don't worry about spending too much time studying again because it won't go to a waste, it will make studying for the subsequent exams easier, so don't feel down or pressured to hurry things.
