Can I do the ENG variant living abroad?

Hi people! I wanted to know that if I make the ENG variant. I live in Ireland and intend to work here. However I cant find a provider that offers the Irish Variant studies, only the ENG (for my suprise)

Do you know if this is possible?

Yes, you can. For LW I chose Global and Irish for TAX exam.

In Pakistan I had to choose Global Law & Local Pakistani Tax.. I had to refer to syllabus guide to findout the recommended books for local Tax. You have to take Irish Law Irish Tax Irish adv Tax pattern... I am studying for my LW (ENG) paper currently, and I live in India. I took the ENG variant and not the Global one as I aspire to work in the UK. I am currently using the Kaplan LW (ENG) ebook and find it easy to follow. And of course the legal language is new to me so google helps me 75% of the times.

If you follow the Kaplan book, you will see that there are a lot of case examples given (facts and held). If you type the case heading (person a vs person b) in google, you will get an elaborate case study of that case.

Hi Joao,

I am currently studying the Ireland Variant in Ireland as a part time course in Griffith College Dublin ( all remotely). It's about 5 weeks in, but all notes and lectures are online so you will have no problem catching up.
